Installing Guest Additions on Ubuntu 7.10, Problems

Hi Guys,

I have installed Ubuntu 7.10 as a guest on a WinXP Host, and everything is working more or less right, but I have a problem when I try to install the Guest Additions from the ISO. I get an error message saying that the installer needs administrator priviledgesand the installer closes. I presume this means I need administrator privileges within Ubuntu. Can anybody help me, remembering that I am fairly new to the whole Linux thing.

Use this command to install Guest Additions:

sudo sh /cdpath/VBoxLinuxAddition all

cdpath is a path to virtual cd contanins the Guest Additions (such /media/cdrom or /media/cdrom0)
