Hello,
Yesterday I had to support my dad remotely (replacing disks). So I used Virtualbox to emulate the steps he had to make. I like Virtualbox.
To the problem:
Some days ago I downloaded the latest version from Gpartedhttp://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php.
Now it turned out that the version gparted-livecd-0.3.4-8 cannot boot under Virtualbox. "using mwait in idle threads" is last message I see, than freeze.
The older version gparted-livecd-0.3.4-7 works without any issues, good that I was aware of it, gparted is a must even that i use it twice a year.
Could anybody from the developers look at the problem please.
I believe its easily reproducible.
Good day.
Gparted livecd
Re: Gparted livecd
I have same problem with my own compiled kernel 2.6.22.5, but with Ubuntu .config and same kernel it works without problems. Is there someone who know about kernel option which can solve this?
