hello,
I have 2 OS on my laptop, side-by-side Windows10 and Linux Cinnamon Vera
I want to change it in Linux and Windows in Virtualbox. How to do that?
Normally it is done that by 1 install Linux, 2 Virtualbox and 3 Windows.
Is there in my situation a way to reroute the current Windows into Virtualbox?.

Re: how to install windows
Going from a dual boot (presumably grub) setup to normal single OS boot is always problematic IMV. You don't gain much by imaging the original Win10, e.g. you will have to reactivate regardless, because the VM is a new PC. Whether your existing Windows license will work in a VM is between you and Microsoft.BartSr wrote: Is there in my situation a way to reroute the current Windows into Virtualbox?.
If I was you I'd just bite the bullet and do a fresh install inside the VM, then reinstall all the apps that you want to continue using. I know that I'll occasionally need to do this, so I keep all the app installers in a folder plus I know where to find the product keys. And besides, it's good to clean all the crud away once in a blue moon.
I find it useful to make a Macrium backup of my old PC before (re)installing Windows. That way when you discover that you left some vital data behind, you can browse the Macrium backup and recover it.
