I have Ubuntu 18 running in VirtualBox (version 6.1.34) on my W10 host PC. The other day everything was fine, but now I have something like the following message when I try to boot it:
I am pretty much in the dark as I am very new to Ubuntu, virtualbox, and never used Docker in the past.
My graphics controller is set to VMSVGA, but I tried changing it to VBoxVGA and VBoxSVGA, neither of which worked. I also tried disabling 3D acceleration, all to no avail.Ubuntu 18.04 Stuck

Re: Ubuntu 18.04 Stuck
Assuming no changes to the VM were made, I'm stumped. There's a lot of these:
Did you run updates inside the VM and fill up its disk?00:00:19.144876 Display::i_handleDisplayResize: uScreenId=0 pvVRAM=0000000000000000 w=800 h=600 bpp=0 cbLine=0x0 flags=0x2 origin=0,0

Re: Ubuntu 18.04 Stuck
I think I did it by mistake. Do you have any suggestions to fix this?

Re: Ubuntu 18.04 Stuck
Ubuntu is known to go blackscreen if there is not enough free disk space to start the desktop environment. This happens in real PCs too. The solution is to log on text-only and delete stuff until the desktop environment can start. Web-search how to fix this in an Ubuntu PC and apply the steps to the VM. Also see How to Resize a Drive
