VirtualBox 6.1.36 r152435 (Qt5.6.2)
I have two monitors. The second monitor is located on the left.
Windows 10 settings:
When I turn on the second monitor for Linux, it, by default, becomes to the right of the first. Although the mouse runs as it should (like the second monitor on the left).
Through Desktop Settings, I change their places like this:
and then something strange begins.
After confirming the changes, the mouse still runs the same way (2nd monitor on the left), but the pointer clicks work as if the second monitor on the right. This can be seen by highlighting the menu items. Therefore, the displayed pointer and its actual location are different.
The problem appeared after upgrading from ubuntu 20.04.
And, in general, it is obvious that the problem is with ubuntu.
P.S. Found the "use host monitor" setting and swapped monitors. Now the mouse works correctly. But I'll leave this problem anyway, because the behavior is incorrect.

Re: Invalid monitor order for mouse on ubuntu 22.04
The arrangement of your physical monitors is not relevant to the VM, which is a different PC. The virtual PC will have a number of virtual monitors which can be arranged and grouped per the norms for the guest OS.
Re: Invalid monitor order for mouse on ubuntu 22.04
Turned off mouse integration and saw two pointers. Both move synchronously, each in its own monitor, but only one of them responds to clicks. It turns out there is confusion between them. And even within Ubuntu, they behave strangely. The current pointer sometimes disappears, but continues to work.
Apparently VM sometimes takes another (invalid pointer).

Pointer issues in a Linux OS may be due to using Wayland instead of X. Virtualbox has issues working with Wayland.

You are right!
I switched to X11 and everything works fine.
Thanks.
