Hello,
I have been trying to get RHEL installed for quite some time now and am constantly failing, receiving the same exact message on the screen "Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exit code=0x00007f00". I have been searching both VirtualBox and RedHat forums for an answer, but most people had their systems running as 32-bit with a 64-bit image or too little RAM, CPU cores. I am definitely running it as 64-bit, have tried with 1 core, 2 cores and 6 cores and anywhere between 4 and 8 gigabytes of RAM - all unsuccessfully. I am at a lost as to what could be causing the issue, in the log I see an error entry that goes as follows "ERROR [COM]: aRC=VBOX_E_VM_ERROR (0x80bb0003) aIID={4680b2de-8690-11e9-b83d-5719e53cf1de} aComponent={DisplayWrap} aText={Could not take a screenshot (VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED)}, preserve=false aResultDetail=-37" which is the only error that I could find and mayhap I missed something, but I couldn't find anything else of relevance in the log.
I appreciate any and all input.
Thank you
P.S. the log was too large to attach so I had to zip it.

Re: RHEL installation fails to start "Kernel panic - not syncing"
That did fix it. Thank you! I'm ashamed I could not find it on my own though.
