I have not been able to create VMs (Fedora 36 Server, Home Assistant) on the most recent VirtualBox 6.1.34 running on Fedora 36.
At the same time installation on VB running on a Win10 system is not an issue.
I have reinstalled VB 'dnf reinstall VirtualBox-6.1' but this didn't solve the inability to create VMs.
So I would like to completely remove VB and reinstall it while at the same time retaining all the VMs.
How can I achieve this?

Check if this applies to your host setup: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=106071
Re: Reinstalling VirtualBox without losing VMs
Yep. Same issue here. I was running Fedora kernel 5.17.13, went back to 5.17.12 (no luck) and then tried 5.17.11 which worked.
So I figure I use this kernel waiting for a future upgrade of VirtualBox...
Thanks for the help
