Sometimes it happens that my VM running Ubuntu Linux (LTS v. 18.04 or 20.04) gets stucked (hanged up) and I'm not able to recover it, loosing work from time to time. The only way to close the VM is by sending a Power off message via File menu.
Is there anything different I can do to recover a stucked VM without powering it off?
Thankx in advance.

Please provide a VM log file. Make sure the VM is fully shut down, then right click it in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.
