Mouse buttons stop working (on both guest and host)

I am on host Debian stable (bullseye, linux amd64 5.10.46-4), starting a guest with Debian unstable (Linux 5.10.5-1), on Virtualbox Version 6.1.26 r145957 (Qt5.15.2) - Pretty much always, sooner or later, the mouse buttons stop working - on both the guest, and the host, until I turn off the guest machine, and then the mouse buttons start working properly again. Really really frustrating.

Does anyone else see anything similar (and even better, have some solution)?

Yes, I have a same issue

Mouse buttons inputs are ignored on quest and host after some time when quest VM window lost focus.

VirtualBox 6.1.26 r145957 with up to date extension pack
Host: Fedora 34 KDE - Kernel 5.13.19
Quest: Windows Server 2019 x64 with up to date quest additions pack

There is nothing much anyone can do until you provide a VM log. Make sure the VM is fully shut down, then right click it in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

It took a while before it started acting like that again, but here you are.

The configuration is this VM is... not great.

Reduce RAM to 6GB (you only show 9GB available, so assigning 8GB is not good).

Reduce CPU core allocation to 2.

Increase graphics RAM to 128MB.

Install the Guest Additions.

Thanks - this might indeed have solved the problems for me. I'll get back here if I run into it again.

Nope, that wasn't the solution, just ran into the problem again.

Krteq - what graphics card do you use in that system? - trying to minimize the differing factors - I am using an nvidia grahics card - are you using the same where you see the problem?
