Using VB 6.1.26 on Windows 10 Host running a Linux guest with Ubuntu 20.04 server.
I have been stepping through a tutorial for installing various applications Apache, MySQL, PHP taking snapshots at each stage.
In the last stage after taking a snapshot i changed something which caused the green right arrow at the bottom of the snapshot icon to change to red.
Is this a problem can the snapshot be used?

Re: Meaning of snapshot icon with red cross
On the snapshot icon, Green arrow means the VM was running when the snapshot was taken. Red square means the VM was shut down when the snapshot was taken.
A red X can appear on the VM's icon in the VM list: this means the VM aborted unexpectedly.
I've not seen a red cross on a snapshot icon. Can you please post a screenshot using the forum's Upload Attachment tab?

Re: Meaning of snapshot icon with red cross
OK, thanks, that's a red square on snapshot 8, meaning the above.
