Multimonitor Guest and Mouse with Guest Additions 6.1.24

Host: Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)
Guest: Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)
VBox: 6.1.24
When I install the guest additions of VBox 6.1.24 and have a multi-monitor Linux guest all mouse clicks appear to be interpreted as if they appeared at the position 2*x, means, if if click in the upper left corner of the first virtual monitor the menu appears where I expect it but the more I move right the farer away the mouse action popup window appears and I have the feeling that the x-coordinate is doubled (at least with my setup and equally sized virtual screens)
I left VBox at version 6.1.24 and re-installed the guest additions from 6.1.22 and the problem disappeared ...
