Critical Error while running virtual machine

Post by John Liu »

I downloaded the Oracle Big Data Lite Virtual Machine from oracle site. I cannot post link else I would post the link

Fully downloaded all 12 files, then used 7-zip to extract them.

Imported into VirtualBox, tried running it then a message of Critical Error happened but it did not state the reason and instead asked me to see the community forums as support

Please provide a VM log file. Make sure the VM is fully shut down (i.e. click past the error dialog), then right click the VM in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

I have attached the log as a zip
P.S. I downloaded the vm from https://www.oracle.com/database/technol ... -v411.html

Does that mean I need to turn hyper v off on my main machine? What if I do not have the permission to? What else can I do?
