Virtio producing I/O errors

Post by virtualhuman »

I am running Fedora as a host and Alpine as a guest with virtualbox 6.1.18.

I decided to try the virtio controller (type: virtio-scsi, use host I/O cache enabled) but I noticed a large amount of errors. I am wondering if the virtio driver is incomplete/beta or if I'm doin something wrong. Here are the errors:

Any ideas please?

*edit*

I can confirm that my VM became corrupted, fsck on the partition came up with fixable errors and some files have been trashed. I guess the virtio controller is beta and should be avoided :)
