Hello I tried to follow the tutorial astr0baby.
I tried to install. I downloaded the clover iso from there and it doesn’t boot. I’m directed to a shell if I give exit command in that shell I go to the boot GUI and if there I can select that Virtual CD of clover. However it doesn’t boot, why it doesn’t boot? Also I have a ubuntu 18.04 and a virtualbox 6.12. What could be the problem that it goes to the shell?
What I note is that the shell says the mapping for BLK0, BLK1 and BLK2. What I have is an empty 100 gb .vdi and an iso image without SPI and clover downloaded from the site of tutorial. The strange is that there is not f0 and is mounted the iso image. I tested that image to boot in other equipment and also in Veotuslbox o,for version and works but not in the computer I want inside with Ubuntu 18.04 and Virtualbox 6.1 latest version.
Or is there a better tutorial article to follow to install Catalina in Ubuntu 18.04 with Virtualbox 6.12?
Thank you

The correct and only solution is to visit your nearest Apple dealer and purchase a Macintosh computer, and then, follow the instructions in the VirtualBox user manual.field3d wrote: Or is there a better tutorial article to follow to install Catalina in Ubuntu 18.04 with Virtualbox 6.12?

Re: Ubuntu 18.04 and Catalina
Interesting argument
Anyway I have other problem. I have in virtualbox a .vmdk running and I need to replace the boot.efi. How can I mount a .vmdk to access the efi directory and replace boot.efi?
Thank you

Re: Ubuntu 18.04 and Catalina
Please provide a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in the GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

Sorry for the delay I was out and I arrived now. I attach in pastebin the logs:
This is the one who does not boot the EFI Clover media who knows why it doesn’t boot a simp,e media EFI, it goes to the EFI Shell like I said in main topic:
https://pastebin.com/dEEWYetr
These are the logs for the Mac who I need to access the boot.efi and replace it. They are 3 because the GUI of Virtualbox had the 3 and I include all because I don’t know which one can be useful:

First, your host is Linux, not OS X, meaning you posted in the wrong forum (OS X Hosts). I will move this topic to OS X guests.
Second, your host OS is not running on Apple hardware, meaning that you cannot legally run OS X, and nor can we legally help you try.
