Can't get UEFI shell to recognise \ key.
I'm trying to set up a VM of macOS and I have gotten to the UEFI Interactive Shell. I need to input a line to boot into the VM, but it requires a backslash. My keyboard is not a standard layout (Steelseries laptop Gaming keyboard) and the backslash is on a non-standard button. Virtualbox refuses to acknowledge this button no matter what language I set the keyboard to. I can't cut and paste into Guest from the Host because UEFI Shell doesn't support it. I've tried macros and everything else I can think of but nothing works. Any help?

Re: Can't get UEFI shell to recognise \ key.
Please provide a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in the GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

You are running a macOS guest (aka a Hackintosh) under a Windows 10 host on non-Apple hardware. This is not supported and is also a violation of Apple's End User License Agreement (EULA). More details can be found at: Important notice regarding Mac OS X as Guest.

My crystal ball is currently broken. If you want assistance you are going to have to give me all of the necessary information.
Please don't ask me to do your homework for you, I have more than enough of my own things to do.

Moving to "OSX Guests" from "Using VirtualBox".
