USB Not working

I’m a new user to VirtualBox. I finally got everything working, downloading Mac OS X on it. But I can’t seem to find out how to use USB/my phone. I downloaded all the extenstions required, and I set it to usb 3. I even added a filter. None of it has worked. If I switch it usb 2 or 1, the mouse or keyboard won’t work. I’ve been working on this for hours. Can anybody please help?

This may be a show-stopper. If in fact this is really Mac OS on a Windows host, then that's not a supported or legal setup. See
OSX guests on non-Apple hardware.
If not, and you accidentally posted in Windows Hosts when you host is really a Mac, then please post a zipped guest log using the Upload Attachment tab on this forum site, along with the proof mentioned in the linked article that will help us know for certain it's a Mac host.
