I've upgraded to VB 6 running Mojave 10.14 as a guest on Win 10 machine.
Still cannot get sound working on the Mojave guest.
Does anyone know if it's supposed to work, or is this not supported?

Running any version of OS X on non-Apple hardware is not supported because of Apple's license conditions.
