Hi,
From the VirtualBox Usermanual:
.... Mac OS X guests only work with one CPU assigned to the VM. Support for SMP will be provided in a future release.
Today i have tested some transcoding jobs with handbrake. Setting the number of vCpus for
a Sierra guest from 1 to 4 speeds up the transcodeing 3 times faster
Q1: Is this information from the manual outdated ?
Q2: Which versions of OS X/macOS are affected by working/non working SMP ?
Regards, OK

Re: SMP for OSX guests
A1: Yes
A2: In my case only the 10.10 OSX guest is unstable. It might work, but most of the times it hangs. The rest, from 10.5 to 10.12, are all fine.
