Installation Problems

Post by Lijong »

I have successfully installed Windows 7 and Tails on my Windows 10 PC using Oracle VirtualBox
I cannot seem to install Mac OS Sierra on it though, I keep getting an error, of which I will try to attach.
I tried it a few times and got these log files. What am I doing wrong. I closed VB and copied this video youtube. com/watch?v=OXn83bs5Ncc to the letter, copying and pasting into Powershell but still get the message you see.

Any help is appreciated. I am a complete novice so go easy with me hahah

Thanks Li

It won't allow me to post the full notepad file as it's 356kb. This is the top part of it if that's any use?

This forum is about running VirtualBox on an OSX host. Your host is running Windows 10, not OS X.

You can only run OS X on a Mac.

As BillG noted, OSX installs are only supported on Apple hardware. See: Important notice regarding Mac OS X as Guest.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
