Cloned Mac HD As Guest
I cloned my old Mac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to an external drive. It is fully bootable on my old MacBook Pro but not on my new MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015). I would like to boot it as a guest with Virtual Box 5.1.14 and OS X Sierra 10.12.13. I searched and found no guide for setting this up. I have tried "raw hard disk access" but keep getting errors and I am not even sure this the right way to do it.

Re: Cloned Mac HD As Guest
I suggest that you use one of the following methods
- restore (DiskUtility) the OS X image onto a Virtual Hard Drive (a .vdi file)
- clone the OS X image onto a Virtual Hard Drive (a .vdi file)
- create a .vdi file
- mount it on/in OS X
- restore or clone onto it
- UNMOUNT it
