I just set up a new OS X 10.11 El Capitan guest on Windows 7 host. The guest constantly says "Cable Unplugged" when I try to connect to the internet. I have tried many different Network settings in VirtualBox but none have worked. Current settings are:
Attached to: NAT
Adapter type: PCnet-FAST III
Cable connected box ticked.
I am new to the VM world, so, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Mac OSX El Capitan guest cannot connect to internet
OSX installs are only supported on Apple hardware. See: Important notice regarding Mac OS X as Guest.JL11 wrote:I just set up a new OS X 10.11 El Capitan guest on Windows 7 host.
