Graphics Card Passthrough?

Hello,

I am trying to run Final Cut Pro X (the trial) under VirtualBox.
However, whenever I launch it, it reports that 'my computer's video card does not meet the minimum system requirements'.
I am running with an Intel HD Graphics 3000, which is one of two minimum video requirements. (See this page: www dot apple dot com/final-cut-pro/specs)
In Mac icon -> About This Mac, the Mac reports "Graphics: Display 4 MB". (See the attachment.)
I have set the VRAM to the max, 128MB; however, the Mac still reports only 4 MB.

Your virtual machine is running on virtual hardware, with the exception of the CPU, and that's not always the case. So, no, you can't see your Intel HD Graphics 3000 on your VM. Nor your graphics RAM.

And for completion, the GPU pass-through is only available (as an experimental feature) only on Linux hosts and after a lot of trial and (a lot more) error.

Thank you. Do you know if there is any way to configure how Mac recognizes a graphics card? (This probably isn't the place for that; just asking.)
