Installing Yosemite gives critical error

Hi,

I'm trying to install Yosemite inside Virtual Box.
Quite early in the boot process, I get a critical error. I checked the logs but couldn't find anything that's obvious to me.
How can I fix this problem?
Attached is the log file.

Why exactly did you do that? What's the tutorial that you were following? If you can't post a link, please obfuscate it by using spaces.

What exactly did you fix? Please describe every step in full detail.

You have the following in your log:

I'd like to see the "recipe" of the VM, the ".vbox" file:
  1. Right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager.
  2. Select "Show in Finder".
  3. ZIP the selected ".vbox" file and attach it in your response.

Hi,

I set that SmcDeviceKey because this site told me to: www [dot] lease web [dot] com [slash] labs [slash] 2015 [slash] 08 [slash] run-osx-vm-virtualbox
At last I followed the steps at: blog [dot] fed [dot] mn [slash] install-os-x-10-10-yosemite-in-virtualbox
That also describes what I 'fixed' (something to do with the base system).
Nothing worked. It seems there are a lot of contradictory guides out there.

I attached the box file. I hope it's of any use.

the directions on How to run OSX in a VM on VirtualBox are misleading.
Use the directions on OS X on OS X Running OS X on VirtualBox. They worked for me.

Your settings look OK. The instructions that ChipMcK said are misleading, are indeed so, because you followed instructions for an Ubuntu host which does not apply to you.

I removed the original virtual machine and created a new one using the instructions from the second link and the installer is currently running.
