Issue specfic to Mac Host OS only ( Oracle 32 bit client)

Hi All,

If Host machine is Mac, I am facing issue while installing Oracle 32 Bit Client (12.1.2.0) on VM Windows 7 or windows 10.

Error message which I am receiving is "[INS-30131] Initial setup required for the execution of installer validations failed"

I created many VM in my another laptop that is running on windows 7, I have created VM machines Windows 2008 R2, Windows 2012 R2, windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 OS.

I am able to install Oracle 32 Bit Client (12.1.2.0) without any issue. However I am not able to install Oracle 32 Bit Client (12.1.2.0) ONLY if My host machine is MAC.

Wondering how Host Machine will affect the installation in VM Machines. Its really strange issue.

Please Note : I am able to install Oracle 11g 32 bit client without any issue on my VM Machine with Mac Host. Any suggestion on this issue?

Please post a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.
