Snow Leopard Update Inverts Mouse Y Axis

Strange.... I just allowed a fresh install of Snow Leopard to update to the latest updates (for Leopard), and when the machine rebooted the mouse's Y-axis is inverted. I'm not talking about scrolling (which no longer works) but how the mouse cursor moves on-screen.
Any ideas?
TIA,
Robert

Post the guests log file ( as an attachment ). Right click on the guest in the Main Manager then click show log. Save and post as an attachment. Compress if it is too large to post.

Hi Perry,
Thank you for responding!
I found the answer last night. The update installs a bad
IOUSBFamily.kext and bad
IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext into the system.
The solution is to copy those files from the original DVD to the corresponding location on the harddrive: from (DVD)/ System/ Library/ Extensions/ * to (HD)
/ System/ Library/ Extensions/ *
This solution came from an old 2011 post on sysprobs . com, from a commenter named Semi, to give credit where it's due.
Thanks, and I hope this helps someone else in the future.
