El Capitan guest pauses frequently

I used to use VirtualBox's OS X support to test brewdo via Vagrant, but since I fired this setup back up again to test El Capitan, my box is pausing often for ~5 seconds. Makes it hard to interact with over SSH.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might try changing in the settings?

Log attached. It doesn't look like much is going on in here, though.

If I run it in GUI mode the GUI freezes up at the same time. I believe the whole VM is freezing for brief periods.

Perhaps a Vagrant or Brewdo issue with OSX 10.11. No clue really since we don't support Vagrant or Brewdo.

Well, brewdo is my software, and I can assure you it has nothing to do with virtualization. :) It's just a wrapper for Homebrew. Purely user-mode stuff. I get the issue before I install it anyway.

I wondered about Vagrant, so I created a straight box using VirtualBox's default OS X 10.11 guest settings, and observed the same behavior. It seems pretty likely that it's a problem running El Cap on El Cap with VB, but I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting.

It could be but I don't use VirtualBox for OSX guests, just everything else, so I can't help.
