guru meditation critical on mac os x snow leopard install

after i refresh and select the snow leopard iso on iboot it crashes at the apple logo saying guru meditation, host os is windows 8.1 and guest is mac os snow leopard 64 bit 1.8 gb ram and 80 gb hdd partition,
