mount a folder as a Virtual CD drive.
How do you mount a desktop folder to run as a virtual drive? I have chosen "choose a virtual CD/DVD file" from under "CD/DVD devices", however, when I try to go the folder I want, it seems to want to go to a file rather than dimply to the folder. The folder contains an older software application, the contents of which were copied into this folder on my desktop. I have tried allowing "all files" and directing to the setup.exe file, this gives me an error message when try ing to mount it.

Re: mount a folder as a Virtual CD drive.
A CD is a CD. A folder is a folder. One can't be the other. You can however mount a host folder as a shared folder. See section 3.11 of the current user manual.
