Hello all,
I need to virtualize an instance of 10.8 server on a Mac Mini running Mac OS X 10.8. I can create the VM, and I have a legal copy of OS X install app from which I have extracted InstallESD.dmg, which mounts fine in the Finder. But when I boot up the VM it falls into the UEFI shell without obvious error. Any help appreciated.
Here is the errors from the VirtualBox log file:
06:35:22.618897 nspr-3 ERROR [COM]: aRC=VBOX_E_INVALID_VM_STATE (0x80bb0002) aIID={22781af3-1c96-4126-9edf-67a020e0e858} aComponent={Machine} aText={Machine is not locked for session (session state: Unlocked)}, preserve=false
06:35:23.285157 nspr-3 ERROR [COM]: aRC=VBOX_E_IPRT_ERROR (0x80bb0005) aIID={22781af3-1c96-4126-9edf-67a020e0e858} aComponent={SessionMachine} aText={Saved screenshot data is not available (VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED)}, preserve=false
Pretty cryptic.
Cheers,
Ben

Re: Help with 10.8 install
That sounds like an OS X install question, not a VirtualBox issue. I think you need to go to Apple as first post of call for technical support on Apple products.
