I am having issues updating my SL Server guest from 10.6.6 to 10.6.7. My physical SL Server on my Mac Mini updated from 10.6.6 to 10.6.7 without any trouble on the first try. The physical machine update also included 3 additional updates ( Safari 5.0.4, iTunes 10.2.1, and Java Update 4).
The issue I am having with my SL Server guest is that the guest goes into "paused" mode before the updates are installed. I also have the same 3 additional updates that need to be installed on the guest (Safari 5.0.4, iTunes 10.2.1, and Java Update 4.) I have tried a couple of times without success and would just revert back to my 10.6.6 snapshot. Next I tried to install the updates separately with the 10.6.7 update being last. No success there either.
Does anyone know why I am having trouble updating my SL Sever guest to 10.6.7 but I had no trouble updating my physical SL Server to 10.6.7?
I am running Virtual Box 4.0.4.
Thanks.
Mike

No one cares here, OS X is stopped since long time ago.

Re: Issues Updating to 10.6.7
I had no trouble updating my guest to 10.6.7 on VBox 4.0.4. My host happens to still be on 10.6.5.

When? It is my understanding that it is okay to run Snow Leopard VM's on Mac hardware. I am running a Snow Leopard Server VM on my Mac Mini Server.ed_co wrote:No one cares here, OS X is stopped since long time ago.
Is "ed_co" correct? Is running OSX VM no longer supported on Mac server hardware?
