Guest fails to boot after upgrade from 10.6.? to 10.6.6

Post by charlweed »

Sucessfully installed Mac OS X retail 10.6 from the CD. But when I try and upgrade to 10.6.6, it fails to boot.
Its a kernel panic right after power-up. I don't know enough about Macs to find any relevant logs.
Anyone else seen this, or have a fix?

XCode requires the upgrade, so I'm stuck.

Again and again.

MacOS is not allowed on other platforms than MacOS Server Hardware and OS.

So its not supported.

End of discussion.

Why is MAC OS X supported as a guest under the Windows Host if it cannot run? I have it installed. I have not tried the 10.6.6 upgrade yet.

Again and agin. It is not supported! Its illegal, because not allowed by apples license.

It may run, but this cant discuss in a public forum.

End of discussion.
