Mac OS X Isn't Booting

Post by CollinBoxed »

Hello, I'm new here so don't expect me to be "perfect"

I have been trying to run Mac OS X 10.5.5, because people say that VirtualBox Runs Mac OS X faster than Vmware. I am using iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5, I have tested it in Vmware and it worked, but was WAY too SLOW. So this is what happens... I boot up the VM, Press "F8". Type -v. Then it boots. It then changes the resolution to "1024x768". Then it freezes... The part that it freezes at is

Code: Select all

BSD Root : disk1s3, major 14, minor 3. Syncing Disks. Killing all proccess...
. Vmware Does the same thing but it doesn't freeze at that part. Here are my Host spec
  • Cpu : Pentium 4 Prescott 2.80GHz
    Memory : 2GB 1GB x 2
Video Card : Ati Raedon 2400 HD
OS : Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit
VM Specs :
  • Cpu Cores : 1
    PAE/NX = Enabled
    Guest OS : FreeBSD
    Memory : 512MB
    IDE Controller : ICH6
    Display :
    Video Memory : 64
    3D Accelration
    Audio : Windows DirectSound - ICH AC97
Network : Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop
    USB : OFF
    Shared Folders : (None)
Any Help Would Be Nice :D

People have done it, and said it was only for testing purposes. Not for daily tasks. Because when I decide I Like Mac OS X I will buy me a real one.
