Guest MacOSX not visible serial ports.

Post by kuzulis »

Hello all.

I have a guest MacOSX Snow Leopard under VirtualBox does not see the serial port. :(

Host: Windows 7 32 bit
Guest: MacOSX Snow Leopard 10.6.1-10.6.2 assembly of Hazard for Intel / AMD.
Vbox: 3.2.8
-----

When I installed MacOSX directly to your hard drive (without VBox) - then I have MacOSX in the /dev directory has identified the serial port as tty.serial1. But when I installed MacOSX under VBox is in the /dev directory of the name I have not found.

In VBox settings for serial ports, I have:
1.Device: COM1
2.Mode: Host Device
3.Device path: COM1

Please help me configure the VBox that appeared in MacOSX serial port.
I am a programmer and I really need to check the work of my project to Qt4 under MacOSX. :(

Thanks in advance.
