Unfortunately I got higher priority tasks on my plate, so couldn't do OSX additions, and it seems that same situation is for other core developers.
Technically, decent engineer with OSX system programming experience, or just desire to have one, can do that, looking at additions for other OS,
and OSX host drivers.

First off: Thank you for the work you are all doing.
Short of guest additions, it should be trivial to add a configuration option for the resolution chosen, at boot, by the EFI Bios. (This resolution becomes the only one available under OS-X.)
As of now, there is only a limited choice of resolutions available through direct editing of the VM's XML file.
