MAC OS Image file
MAC OS Image file
I have downloaded OS 12 & 13 through the App store. When I try to set up a MAC VM (on my MAC with an M1), what image file should I be using?

Better question might be, "What Mac should I be using?"Disp350 wrote:n my MAC with an M1)
Please see M1/M2 Mac 7.0 Beta Status. It is highly unlikely that any modern Intel-code OS will run in the 7.0 M1 Beta.
You'd do better on an Intel-based Mac. When you do get one, see the stickies in Mac Guests for making install media.
Re: MAC OS Image file
Thanks very kindly for the info. I wish I did have access to an intel-based device, but my company always loves latest and greatest. Guess I'll have to be patient and wait for it to be supported.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

M1/M2 is not latest, there have been plenty of Intel or AMD CPUs since then. Greatest is a matter of taste - or marketing.Disp350 wrote:but my company always loves latest and greatest
