Running macOS 10.14.6, VB 6.1.26 r145957, and looking for easiest way to maintain a 32-bit compatible macOS. I am using Mac hardware.
Is VB able to install a macOS from DMG file? Seems like a basic question, but I haven't found a direct answer elsewhere. I see that it's an allowed format with choosing a disk file, but it kept stalling at the UEFI Interactive Shell with the "Shell>" prompt. Log is attached.
Going to try an ISO of Snow Leopard. I got Ubuntu to install from an ISO file, so maybe that's the issue?
Thanks!

Yes, I've read through most of them. Is there one that addresses how to install from a DMG file?scottgus1 wrote:Please check out the stickies in Mac Hosts and Mac Guests.
I'm using a mid-2012 MacBook Pro. Is there a compatability issue there?

OK, thanks for looking. I'm no Mac guru, so we'll have to wait until one comes along.
