I'm trying to run Deft, a process modeller which is an OS9 app. Tiger was the last OSX version to support the OS9 emulator.
Virtual Box version 6.1.22 seems to be having issues with Big Sur, but does someone know how to load Tiger into it so that when these issues are resolved, I'd be able to try their solution? Deft is an amazing process modeller, and I'd be happy to give a copy of Deft to anyone who can figure how to run it on a modern mac.

I believe only the PowerPC version of Tiger was able to run OS 9 in emulation. I don't think it will run on the Intel version.
You might do better trying to run OS 9 applications on Intel using SheepShaver
