iCloud Unsupported Device MacOS Big Sur Virtualbox

Post by bbeach123 »

I'm new to this thing. I followed a tutorial and installed Big Sur and it runs fine and its responsive. However, whenever I try to sign into my apple account it says ICLOUD_UNSUPPORTED_DEVICE. I'm assuming there's a way to fix this issue bit i have no idea where to begin. any and all help would be appreciated.

Please provide a VM log file. Make sure the VM is fully shut down, then right click it in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

As I thought. Apple only licenses their OS for use on Apple hardware, so it should hardly come as a surprise that your HP Envy x360 gets an UNSUPPORTED_DEVICE error. This might not be the only reason: for example if it was an illegal download then the key could have been blacklisted.

Since we can't be seen helping people violate the conditions of their license, I have to lock this topic now.
