Hello,
I'm trying to create a macOS (Catalina) VM. After the Catalina installer completes, the VM fails to boot into macOS. It attempts to boot for about 5 minutes, then restarts itself.
Here is the process I've followed:
1. Created an installer ISO of Catalina following granada29's installerapp2iso GUI app
2. Launched the VM, created an HFS+ / GUID partition map partition
3. Installed Catalina to the partition
4. During the first reboot of the installer, I powered off the VM and removed the ISO DVD drive.
5. Rebooted the VM, waited for the installation to finish.
6. After the installation finished, the VM rebooted. It starts to launch, fails, restarts itself, and repeats.
How can I get the VM to boot?
My host OS is 10.15.7. I'm using VirtualBox 6.1.16 w/ the extension pack installed. Logs are attached. Thanks in advance for any help / guidance!

@damonallison
Sorry you are having problems. You may have overcommitted your host resources. Try setting the number of CPUs to 4 and memory to 8GB in your VM. If this works, then you could try increasing them.

@granada29 - thank you so much for your help! Lowering CPU and memory as you suggested fixed the issue. The VM boots correctly!
