Hi all,
I'm not a Solaris expert, but we're looking to host an archived Solaris system on Virtual Box (VB) for a client to help reduce their infrastructure costs.
I came across a post on another forum which should help us identify if the source system is a Big or Little Endian.
(sorry, I can't post URLs yet as this is my 1st forum post here)
The issue we have is that instead of returning a "0" or "1", the result came back with a result of "6".
OK, so far this has nothing to do with VB, but my main question here is does it make a difference if it's BIG or LITTLE Endian when migrating onto VB?
Many thanks in advance for any guidance.
