Hi,
For Solaris 11 OS that is actually run inside Virtualbox. Do you know there is a way to boot it from CD/DVD?

When you boot from a bootable CD you are booting whatever OS is on the CD. The question of what kind of guest is installed on the hard drive of the VM - is redundant.
