Could not insert the VirtualBox Guest Additions installer

Hi,
I set up Solaris 11 in Virtualbox and then have selected this
Device > "Install Guest additions"

but I geet this below. why?

Could not insert the VirtualBox Guest Additions installer CD image into the virtual machine OracleSolaris11_1, as the machine has no CD/DVD-ROM drives. Please add a drive using the storage page of the virtual machine settings dialog.

Yes that's the one. Just choose "Leave empty"

Yes, I have selected that and after having started Solaris, I choose

Devices > Install Guest additions

but nothing happens. Why? Thanks

Because you have to start the routine?

Dont know how this is on Solaris.

But i think its know useful to read the user manual for further instructions.

All your questions are already answered in the Chapter 4 of the User Manual, even the fact that the installer does NOT auto start.
