Good day, my host OS (Windows 7 sp1, x64) had problems installing Solaris. I switched it from 10.9 to 11(x64) and it finally installed. After creating a domain login, signing into my account, and selecting boot from hard disk, it just stays there at my login information. It doesn't load up the GUI or anything.
Example: my login is banjo233, after logging in, it says banjo233@BanjoHome:~$ and doesn't do anything after. it doesn't load. Am I suppose to boot from the command line or something? Help would be much appreciated.
Solaris won't load.

Re: Solaris won't load.
so solaris is loading, you just don't have it configured to boot to x11 that's all, you probably did a core install instead of full+oem.
10u9 and 11u1 work fine here (linux host).
