Changing shared directory
How can I change the shared directory from /sf_shared to /export/home/sf_shared

This is documented in the User Manual (section 4.3.2 Automatic mounting)
I'd suggest you read that section entirely; http://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch04.h ... mount_autoTo change the mount directory to something other than /media, you can set the guest property /VirtualBox/GuestAdd/SharedFolders/MountDir.
