Red Hat Linux 5.8 host
Solaris 10 guest
NAT is used for networking.
Running ifconfig on Solaris guest only shows the 127.0.0.1 loopback interface.
How do I get Solaris to recognise the virtual network adapter?
Virtual network adapter not detected by Solaris10
Re: Virtual network adapter not detected by Solaris10
I fixed this by using host-only networking.
Run sys-unconfig on the Solaris guest. You are then able to reconfigure networking.
Configure an IP address of 192.168.56.102 or similar.
