What does VBoxManage list extpacks show?
You may need to remove the current extpack first.
Plus you do know that the extpack goes on the host right?

In a command window type VBoxManage list extpacks You will need to be in the directory that has VBoxManage.exe

You remove it from the same place you install it from. How to install Extension Pack. From which you can also see the version installed.
