Wierdest network problem ever

Post by ChristerSolskogen »

I installed Solaris 11 as a guest on a Mac OS X host.
The guest works fine, but the zone I created (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/artic ... 24494.html) have problems with the network. The zone can only ping its global zone UNLESS I run tcpdump on the globalzone! When running tcpdump on the only interface the virtual machine have, the zone can reach whatever I want it to.

Code: Select all

chs@globalzone:~$ dladm show-link
LINK CLASS MTU STATE OVER
net0 phys 1500 up --
testzone/net0 vnic 1500 up net0
I'm a bit worried about the net0 on the global zone. I was under the impression that the Intel-card emulated would show up as e1000g0.
