I had a Solaris 8 guest running fine on VirtualBox 3.1.6 on RHEL 5.1 host. Then I upgraded to VirtualBox 4.0.4.
Now the Solaris 8 guest won't stay up. It gets as far as fsck at boot and then goes into "GURU MEDITATION"
I tried booting from my install CD and it gets as far as configuring the network interface then "GURU MEDITATION"

Does anyone have a fix?
