What is the question?
Is there an error message?

I guess I won't be able to help you anyways, but asking the right question might help others.

How familiar are you with networking on a Solaris system?

Edit: Moving to Solaris guest as it really is the right place

Yes, I know the Solaris networking part. My worry is i think the network later the VM provides does not communicate to each other. Means, windows and the hypervisor through to solaris the VM

I had the same problem with my Solaris 10 VM yesterday. Since I am using the same networking configuration for Solaris on a PC, I knew the problem had to be with the VM networking configuration. My host is Windows Vista. The default VM network adapter is NAT. I changed mine to Bridge Adapter, powered on my VM and all is working, so give that a try.

I have removed all the useless info in your post, as it was only making it much more diffcult to read.

Few things in your case :
1. Your guest OS doesn't have an IP in any subnets of your host OS. How do you expect it to communicate?
2. Your host-only interface is not configured properly. Seems like you tried to mess with it but failed to reconfigure it properly. Set it back to default values.
3. You don't give any info about the VM config. Is it NAT? Host-only? Bridged?
4. Have you configured any firewalls properly?

If you don't understand what I am saying here, please read up on network first as this is not really a Virtualbox issue (unless shows otherwise).

In any case I will close this topic. Once you've gathered more info and got the VM log file and the guest settings at hand as described in Minimum information needed for assistance, you should open a new topic and provide all of them.
