Open solaris does not boot after deleting snapshots.

Post by new »

I am using Virtual Box 3.1.4. On Windows Vista with an Opensolaris Guest. I deleted a few snapshots in order to free up disk space.
Since then Opensolaris does not boot.
I have exported the virtual machine so a reinstall should be quite easy but I am concerned about loosing all the current data.
Is there a way to get it working again without loosing my newest data?

When you say that you deleted snapshots, what exactly do you mean? Did you delete them through the GUI or did you delete the files manually?

I deleted them trough the GUI but the Vitual Machine run out of diskspace during the operation.
As far as I can remember I had to restart the VM
